This website is dedicated to the promotion of tourism in county Clare, Ireland.
At the moment the site is still under construction. The page Attractions is the victim of that. This page had to wait until several technical challanges were solved. With this new, restyled, version of the website and the running marketing campaign this page will soon get the attention it deserves and come to life.
The emphasis is on lodging accommodation, with which generally all the places are understood where you can find a bed for the night.
Out of practical considerations I have divided those accommodation into six categories:
- B&B's (Bed & Breakfast)
- Guesthouses
The difference between a B&B and a Guest is more or less the place where the owner is staying. In a B&B you share the house with the owner, in a Guesthouse the owner lives in a separate part of the building or in a seperate house on the premises. So you have more privacy.- Hostels
- Hotels
- Holiday homes
- Camping & Caravan Parks
But a bed for the night is not everything. That is why there are also pages dedicated to transport, local attractions and festivals.

comprehensiveness of the information on offer.
